What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Reconciliation Specialist position at FTS Inc?
One of our great partners in East Syracuse, NY is looking for their next Cash Reconciliation Specialist!
This position works fully onsite, Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
What You Bring
- 1-3 years performing finance, banking, or other related accounting tasks
- Associate's in Accounting, Finance, or Business degree with relevant coursework
What You'll Do
- Perform a high volume of bank reconciliations and record all transactions to the ledger
- Identify discrepancies, create tickets and notify the proper channels
- Resolve discrepancies by working closely with banks, credit car processors and 3rd party lenders
- Maintain effective relationships with lenders and collaborate on issue resolution
- Review monthly account analysis statements for large variances and investigate accordingly
- Review and properly assign bank service charges
- Order/assist with deposit supplies such as deposit tickets, stamps, deposit bags. etc.
- Perform heavy data entry and spreadsheet usage
- Additional related responsibilities as assigned.
