Job Description: Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

Location: Northeast Georgia (Macon, Warner Robins, and surrounding areas)
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (DOE) Bonus

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our growing commercial construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with strong leadership skills to manage and oversee a variety of commercial projects including mixed-use retail, small government buildings, multifamily, QSR, and other franchise properties. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience managing commercial job sites, demonstrating exceptional time management, budgeting, and quality control skills. This role reports directly to the Project Manager and will oversee 1-2 projects at a time.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of mixed-use commercial, retail, and government building projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects run efficiently and safely.
• Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring costs stay within the established financial scope.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections, ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Time Management: Efficiently allocate resources and manage project schedules to ensure on-time completion.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing project updates and addressing concerns.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably in mixed-use, retail sectors, QSR, other franchises.
• Construction Management Degree preferred
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, $3Mil budgets, and job site logistics effectively.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, safety standards, and quality control practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with time management and problem-solving on complex construction sites.
