About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Program Manager within the Engineering Technology and Safety organization. In this role, you will be fully integrated with engineering delivery teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. These projects range from improvements to existing in-service systems to next-generation New Product Introduction (NPI) and technology development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning and execution of Engineering Development programs.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects within cost, specification, and time constraints.
- Develop and maintain necessary project documentation.
- Administer and maintain project plans using Microsoft Project, integrating with the program master schedule.
- Track, monitor, and report the status of the full project lifecycle while managing effective customer relationships.
- Make program management decisions and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Implement best practices in project management, ensuring alignment with company processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead estimation activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree-level qualification, with membership in the Association of Program Management (or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience working in a relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of Systems and Software Development Lifecycles (V or W model), with experience in agile or waterfall software development projects preferred.
- Experience leading Aerospace programs or products through certification and introduction into service.
- Strong IT skills, including experience with MRP, Primavera P6, MS Excel, data warehouse systems, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and project management skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for effective program tracking and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in quality management practices to ensure high standards are met throughout the program lifecycle.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in program development with a focus on achieving strategic objectives.
- Familiarity with Scrum methodologies to enhance team collaboration and productivity.
- Time management skills that enable efficient handling of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with systems that support project execution and monitoring.
