Duties
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and SOX.
- Conduct regular general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Lead the accounting team in achieving departmental goals and fostering professional development.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in debits and credits with a solid understanding of financial concepts.
- Experience with SOX compliance requirements.
- Expertise in general ledger reconciliation processes.
