The Role:
We’re looking for someone with the skills, strategic mindset, and ambition of a Controller or Director/VP of Finance, who’s ready to go to the next level. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, but also helping to shape the future of the business alongside other key leaders. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring sound financial management while embracing a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset.
What You'll Do:
- Own and lead all aspects of financial operations—reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Partner with the owners and leadership team on strategic growth initiatives, M&A, and new market entry.
- Provide leadership in financial planning, risk management, capital structure optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee cash flow, budgeting, and revenue forecasting to ensure the company's financial stability and scalability.
- Implement financial processes and controls that balance precision with agility in a rapidly scaling company.
- Advise on business development opportunities and work directly with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment on key financial priorities.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team, nurturing talent and ensuring the department evolves with the business.
- Be hands-on when necessary—whether it's diving into spreadsheets or negotiating critical deals.
What You Bring:
- 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 in a leadership role (Controller, Director of Finance, VP of Finance, etc.).
- CPA or MBA is a bonus, but not mandatory. We care more about experience, impact, and drive.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, FP&A, accounting systems, and cash flow management.
- Visionary thinking—able to see the big picture while keeping a close eye on financial details.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you have to make decisions on the fly.
- A creative and strategic mindset. You're not just a number-cruncher—you think outside the box and help the business innovate and grow.
- Excellent communication skills—you know how to make complex financial data digestible for everyone from investors to marketing.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
