Position Overview:
As the Director of Finance, you will be the lead finance business partner working closely with the General Manager and will play a critical role in the operational and strategic decision-making process for our high-performing, $400MM manufacturing plant. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to ensure the continued financial health and growth of the operation. Your expertise will drive the financial strategy, optimize cost management, and provide actionable insights that directly influence key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Serve as the trusted finance partner to the General Manager and plant leadership team, providing critical financial insights to drive operational efficiency, profitability, and growth.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Ensure alignment with operational goals and business strategies.
- Cost Management: Analyze production costs, identify areas of opportunity, and lead initiatives to optimize cost efficiencies across the plant.
- Business Performance Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Develop and present actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, collaborating with key stakeholders to develop strategies that mitigate risk and maximize profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, supply chain, and production teams to support continuous improvement and ensure alignment of financial and operational objectives.
- Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to corporate policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements. Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the plant's financial health.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with a focus on manufacturing or operations finance.
- Proven track record of providing financial leadership in a large-scale manufacturing environment, ideally within a $100MM plant.
- Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and work cross-functionally with senior leadership and plant operations teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify financial drivers and influence decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and financial software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
