Position: Director of Global IT Infrastructure
We’re seeking a strategic leader to take charge of our global IT infrastructure. As the Director of Global Infrastructure, you’ll play a critical role in defining, executing, and maintaining a robust and scalable global technology environment. You’ll lead a focused, high-performing team while working closely with external vendors and managed service partners to enhance the reliability, scalability, and innovation of our systems across cloud, networking, compute, storage, and endpoint platforms.
This role is essential to our digital transformation efforts. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving global consistency, improving infrastructure visibility and security, and boosting end-user efficiency. We're looking for someone who combines big-picture thinking with hands-on execution, understands the importance of building IT the right way, and is passionate about empowering the business through secure, streamlined, and scalable tech solutions.
You’ll work in close partnership with teams across Applications, Security, and Data & Integration to ensure IT strategies are cohesive, effective, and clearly communicated throughout the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years in senior global infrastructure leadership.
- Industry experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- A successful history of developing and executing scalable infrastructure strategies across international locations and diverse business units.
- Solid technical knowledge of hybrid IT environments including Azure, O365, virtualization, and networking.
- Experience overseeing managed service providers and third-party vendor partnerships.
- Proven ability to manage lifecycle planning for infrastructure tools and platforms.
- Deep understanding of ITIL practices and structured change management.
- Ability to align infrastructure solutions with business goals and communicate their impact in clear, quantifiable ways.
- Demonstrated capability in increasing infrastructure maturity and establishing global standards in complex environments.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting ERP systems from an infrastructure standpoint.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation/Expert, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, PMP).
- Familiarity with modern networking/security models like SASE, SD-WAN, or Zero Trust.
- Background in mid-sized or rapidly growing companies, particularly during digital transformations.
- Skilled in collaborative and project management tools (e.g., Teams, Smartsheet).
