As the Entertainment Director, you're not just planning events; you're crafting experiences that resonate with our residents, turning our luxury apartment communities into vibrant and dynamic spaces. Your role is to curate a calendar filled with exciting weekly events and memorable quarterly extravaganzas, all while cleverly securing sponsorships. If you're a seasoned event maven with a knack for community building, read on!

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Event Planning:

• Devise a monthly event calendar for each community, making the average of three events per week your creative playground.
• Innovate by combining mixers to maximize impact, and leverage third-party events for added flair without breaking the bank.
• Secure budget approvals from Community Managers, breaking down planned events and expenditures.

Flawless Execution:

• Transform spaces into event havens, ensuring aesthetics align with the event scale and purpose.
• Host and manage events, fostering connections among residents and making each gathering an unforgettable experience.
• Oversee Community Gardens (where available), facilitating plot assignments and orchestrating seasonal cleanups.

Promotion and Marketing:

• Attend Chamber of Commerce events, representing our community and establishing valuable connections.
• Collaborate with leasing teams to organize open house events and contribute innovative marketing strategies.
• Leverage social media to generate buzz before, during, and after events, showcasing our vibrant community life.

Community Engagement:

• Cultivate resident relationships, turning regulars into event ambassadors.
• Spearhead five major resident parties annually, from a glamorous Prom/Dance Party to festive Holiday celebrations.

Administrative Mastery:

• Efficiently manage petty cash and invoicing for seamless event execution, submitting receipts promptly.
• Ensure welcome packets feature materials exclusively from our partner businesses, actively seeking new partnerships.
• Oversee fitness events, maintaining relationships with instructors and promoting fitness programs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in event planning, showcasing a keen understanding of community dynamics.
• Exceptional organizational skills and budget management prowess.
• Stellar communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for building lasting community connections.
• Social media savvy, adept at utilizing platforms for event promotion.
• Self-driven and adept at working autonomously, taking full ownership of event success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
