Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Systems Consultant to join our client's team in Sandy Springs, GA. This role focuses on extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data within Apptio to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, dashboard development, and business intelligence, with expertise in Apptio’s reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Transformation: Extract, process, and transform data from Apptio modules (e.g., Cost Allocation, Resource Management, Portfolio Planning) for visualization and reporting.
- Dashboard Development: Design intuitive, visually compelling dashboards using Apptio’s reporting tools, leveraging appropriate charts and graphs to highlight key insights.
- Business Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and finance stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting needs.
- Customization & Filtering: Build interactive dashboards with advanced filtering capabilities, enabling users to drill down into specific data points and analyze various scenarios.
- Data Quality Assurance: Monitor data sources, ensure accuracy, and identify potential inconsistencies to maintain data integrity in reports.
- Documentation & Training: Provide clear documentation on dashboard usage, including metric definitions and data interpretation guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Apptio Proficiency: Strong understanding of Apptio’s functionalities, including data modeling, reporting, and visualization tools.
- Data Analysis Expertise: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.
- Data Visualization Skills: Knowledge of best practices in data visualization, including chart selection, color schemes, and dashboard layout.
- Strong Communication: Ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of IT cost management, cloud computing, and key business performance indicators (KPIs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Apptio One, Cost Transparency, or Business Insights modules.
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) principles.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, or other data manipulation tools.
