Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, analyzing stock data, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations within our distribution center. This position requires a strong understanding of retail management and supplier management, along with proficiency in analytics tools such as Power BI.
Duties:
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet business demands while minimizing excess stock.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage stock replenishment and negotiate pricing strategies.
- Utilize Power BI to create reports and dashboards that provide insights into inventory performance.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment on inventory needs and supply chain processes.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Implement best practices in inventory management to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory coordination or related roles within a distribution center or retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
