What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Billing Associate position at FTS Inc?
One of our great partners in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Medical Biller!
The ideal candidate will bring 3 years of experience in medical billing for nursing homes and/or pharmacies.
The position works fully onsite during normal business hours Monday-Friday.
What You'll Do
- Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients
- Review patient records for accuracy and completeness before billing
- Follow up on unpaid claims and manage the medical collection process
- Communicate with healthcare providers regarding billing issues or discrepancies
- Maintain organized medical records in compliance with regulations
What You Bring
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience with medical billing for pharmacies and/or nursing homes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with medical coding preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
