What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment Specialist - Non-profit position at FTS Inc?
One of our great partners in Rochester, NY is looking for a temporary Non-profit Recruiter!
The ideal start date is Wednesday, April 9! The contract length is a roughly 1-month temporary assignment, with possibility of being considered for a permanent opportunity!
This position works onsite during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
What You'll Do
- Source and attract candidates
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess fit and qualifications
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Maintain detailed candidate notes in the applicant system and ensure compliance with nonprofit hiring practices
- Promote the organization’s mission and values to attract mission-aligned talent
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment strategies
- Assist with onboarding
What You Bring
- 1 year of recruiting/talent acquisition experience in non-profit
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to clear a background check and drug screen
