What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Fleet Coordinator (Temporary) position at FTS Inc?
One of our great partners with locations in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee is looking for a temporary Traveling Fleet Coordinator! This individual must be bilingual in Spanish & English.
Every other week, this individual will be working at the job site directly with the foremen and fleet and staying in a hotel paid for by the company. Then in the off-weeks, they will be working remotely to manage the administrative tasks such as invoicing and working with vendors. Please read full job description below.
What You'll Do
- Travel to Job Sites – Visit multiple job locations to work directly with foremen and assess fleet needs.
- Conduct Vehicle Inspections – Perform on-site inspections to ensure vehicles are safe, operational, and compliant.
- Coordinate Repairs & Maintenance – Schedule and oversee necessary repairs, working with vendors to minimize downtime.
- Handle Invoices & Payments – Review, verify, and process invoices for fleet services and repairs.
- Liaise with Vendors – Communicate with mechanics, service providers, and suppliers to ensure timely fleet support.
- Monitor Fleet Utilization – Track vehicle assignments and ensure proper allocation across job sites.
- Facilitate On-Site Meetings – Meet with foremen and crews to address fleet concerns and provide solutions.
- Maintain Compliance Records – Ensure all vehicle documentation, inspections, and certifications are up to date.
- Identify Immediate Fleet Issues – Troubleshoot and resolve urgent problems affecting vehicle performance or availability.
- Work Independently & Adapt – Operate with minimal supervision, making on-the-spot decisions to support fleet efficiency.
What You Bring
- 2-3 years of Fleet Coordination experience, vendor communications and invoicing
- Spanish & English Bilingual proficiency
- Ability to drive up to 8 hours at one time/in one day to travel to the next job site
- Valid U.S. License

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
