Vice President of Sales & MarketingPosition Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts. This executive-level position will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing brand visibility through innovative strategies and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in sales leadership, strategic marketing, and cross-functional collaboration, with a keen understanding of the construction and real estate sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement cutting-edge sales strategies to capture new business, increase market share, and maximize client retention.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and business objectives.
- Set clear sales goals and performance metrics, aligning them with company growth and expansion plans.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and influencers to generate new business opportunities and drive sales.
- Oversee the negotiation and successful closing of complex, high-value contracts and deals.
2. Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that positions the company as an industry leader and drives growth.
- Oversee all aspects of marketing, including branding, advertising, digital presence, and public relations, ensuring alignment across all channels.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (social media, email marketing, content creation, and paid media) aimed at generating qualified leads and increasing market visibility.
- Continuously assess industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to inform and adapt marketing tactics.
3. Market Analysis & Competitive Insights
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs, and track competitive movements.
- Provide strategic insights to the executive team regarding market shifts, sales performance, and growth potential.
- Stay at the forefront of industry developments, technological advancements, and evolving market conditions to ensure the company remains competitive.
4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, CFO, and operations teams, to ensure that sales and marketing strategies align with company goals.
- Collaborate with project management and design teams to ensure customer expectations are understood and met through effective sales and marketing initiatives.
- Support the sales team by providing them with the tools, resources, and materials needed to succeed, including presentations, proposals, and sales collateral.
5. Budget Management & Performance Reporting
- Oversee the development and management of the sales and marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Track and report on sales and marketing performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
- Adjust strategies and tactics as necessary to meet business objectives, financial targets, and deadlines.
6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Team Development
- Ensure the successful implementation and optimization of CRM systems to manage leads, prospects, and customer relationships.
- Promote a customer-first culture within the sales and marketing teams, emphasizing exceptional service and strong client relationships.
- Support the professional growth and development of the sales and marketing team by providing ongoing training and leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership, with a proven track record in the construction, real estate, or related industries. Regional experience is preferred.
- Success in Sales & Marketing: Proven history of driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term sales and marketing strategies that drive business expansion.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make informed decisions. HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the construction, real estate, or land development industries, including market dynamics and customer behaviors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
