Responsibilities
- Perform inventory control tasks to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently for material handling.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and processing orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage during storage and transport.
- Participate in regular training sessions on warehouse management practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and processes is an asset.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management is desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
