Transportation Sales Manager
This is a critical role in expanding sales efforts within our team, which is currently heavily operations focused.
We are seeking a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced direct trucking industry environment and is comfortable cold calling, prospecting, and actively pursuing new business opportunities to drive business development, acquire new clients, and diversify our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day brokerage operations, including email communication, load tracking, and pickups/drop-offs.
- Drive sales efforts through prospecting, client outreach, and account growth.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage sales and client relationships.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in logistics sales (3PL experience required).
- Strong business development skills with a proven ability to generate new clients.
- Self-driven and proactive—must be comfortable cold calling and selling.
Flexible Schedule:
- Work an 8-hour shift (plus 1-hour lunch) between 7 AM – 5 PM, with some after-hours/weekend availability as needed.
- No micromanagement—just get the job done.
