We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to designated locations while ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations. This role requires a commitment to excellent customer service, adherence to delivery schedules, and maintaining the highest standards of safety on the road.
Schedule : Sunday-Thursday 11 : 00p-7 : 30a
Primary Responsibilities :
- Ensuring that deliveries and pick-ups are made in the most efficient, economical manner possible
- Deliver product to and pick up product from specified locations
- Hook and unhook trailers from tractor - cranking lever to raise and lower landing gear
- Inspect equipment for defects and operating condition before, during and after trips -complete a thorough pre and post trip
- Develop and maintain an efficient routing system
- Maintain clean equipment
- Professional representation of the company and trucking industry
- Reporting-Submitting daily trip reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Proper use and knowledge of E-Log system. As well as maintaining the hardware
- Ensure BOLs are signed and delivered
- Safety and Maintenance - involves delivering orders safely, following regulations, and safely operation and maintaining equipment
- Observe OHSA, state, and federal safety regulations
- Follow all company and regulatory agency safety policies
- Maintain a valid commercial driver's license
- Report all accidents involving driver and / or equipment immediately upon occurrence
- Promptly report any delays, breakdowns, weather and / or traffic conditions, or other emergencies to dispatch
