We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Supervisor for our 3rd shift operations. This role involves overseeing a team of 5 direct reports to ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate handling of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day activities, managing employee performance, processing timecards, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10:30p-7:00a
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 5 warehouse associates during the 3rd shift.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor workflow to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance performance
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations during the shift, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports, providing constructive feedback and setting goals.
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
- Review and approve timecards to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Prepare daily shift reports and update key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Communicate with leadership regarding shift progress, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Enforce company policies and OSHA safety standards to create a safe working environment.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure team members are trained on proper equipment usage and procedures.
Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and leadership.
