Pay Range:
FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $19 - $20 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
- Maintaining the required components and products needed at the various automated and manual packaging machines to ensure they can continually run.
- Movement of manufactured product, packaging and large equipment using a forklift/pallet truck, drum lift, pallet jack, and hand truck as well as preparing orders for shipping.
- Read and comprehend manufacturing orders and customer instructions/specifications to determine the required equipment, product, and components required for setups and changes overs needed to process packaging orders for shipment to customers
- Setup, prepare, and adjust packaging equipment both automated and manual by choosing programs, custom settings and/or volumetric measurements
- Disassembling, assembling and/or minor repairs to grease and oil pumps, valves, and various packaging equipment including but not limited to labelers, sealers, tables, carts, shelves, and filing pipes
- Maintain communication with coworkers and the relevant departmental managers to ensure the correct sequence to prepare packaging machines for manufacturing orders
- At least 1 year of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing and computer skills required
- Analytical & Mathematic skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow step by step procedures
- Some heavy lifting (up to 75-lbs.) may be required
- Eight hours of walking/standing/sitting
- Pushing/Pulling/Moving of raw material containers and production equipment
