Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as inter-nal equity.
- Develop production schedules to meet all finished goods requirements while optimizing capacity and inventory levels
- Work with Sales and Operations to plan, develop and establish production schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor the manufacturing schedule throughout the month and anticipate possible changes as needed due to batch failure, equipment failure, or lack of resources (material, labor, etc.)
- Coordinate with buyers, production, quality, sales, customer service, and shipping to maintain service level goals
- Utilize the Company MRP system to:
- Determine whether sufficient raw material and component inventory exists to produce the quantity of product required.
- Verify manufacturing lead times and available capacity.
- Review raw material demands to anticipate shortages.
- Provide leadership support/role in Daily/Weekly Planning meetings.
- Generate capacity plans for applicable manufacturing cells.
- Bachelor's degree in business related field
- APICS certification preferred
- 2 years experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP or Dynamics GP preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Advanced Excel skills
