Salary
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor reports to the Grease Operations Manager and plays a crucial role in the daily plant production. This includes but not limited to:
- Supervise daily, weekly, and monthly activities of the Grease Plant. This includes but not limited to, daily overtime and appropriate scheduling for weekend coverage of Production Leads and Operators on 2nd shift.
- Direct manufacturing employees in the production of Grease batches, filling of containers and other operations activities.
- Assist in scheduling of production orders and ensure that production schedules are met.
- Monitor performance utilizing our performance management process against goals established by yourself and the Operations Manager.
- Supervise employees to ensure compliance to Company Safety & Environmental Policies, housekeeping/ 6S programs, and SOPs/ Quality requirements.
- Manage/control job floor and warehouse material inventory utilizing employees to conduct cycle counts.
- Develop Kanban levels for items needed in manufacturing to prevent loss of manufacturing time. Including parts and supplies.
- Utilizes company IT equipment such as SAP & Microsoft Office to monitor department processes, leads, operator performance, audit analysis, and additional activities as required.
- Audit and correct SAP movements with the process, specifically with the review of completed process orders.
- Interfacing closely with the laboratory to ensure maximum efficiency and problem resolution.
- Directly supervises 2-8 employees in the Harvey Grease Plant.
- High school diploma required. College degree in a technical or business field (Chemistry, Engineering, Opera-tions, etc.) desired.
- 5 years of experience within a batch manufacturing environment required.
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication tech-niques and tools to ensure appropriate flow of information.
- ERP system experience, SAP desired.
- Experience with ISO/TS/ IATF desired.
- Lean manufacturing/ continuous improvement/ 6S experience desired.
