Your areas of responsibility :
The Regional Category Buyer plays an integral role in expanding scope of the Procurement organization to manage and optimize the spend category of Indirect Spend by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive efficiency and value across the organization. As a member of our purchasing team, the Regional Category Buyer will be empowered to lead the Company's sourcing activities in a significant portion of our ~$60M indirect material spend.
The Regional Category Buyer's key responsibilities include :
Cost Optimization :
Gather and analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Drive compliance with procurement policies and guidelines.
- Supplier Management :
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for indirect goods and services.
Develop, implement and manage category strategies for Indirect Spend, including but not limited to facilities management, utilities, MRO, Capital Expenditures, IT, travel, and professional services.
Travel is expected to be less than 10%.
