Fuchs Mizrachi School in Beachwood, Ohio is looking for an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher! You work alongside the lead teacher to create a positive and enriching learning environment for young children. This role includes supporting classroom activities, assisting with daily routines, and helping ensure each child's emotional, social, and developmental needs are met.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Provide individual and group support to children during lessons and playtime.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
Assist with daily routines such as snack time, lunch, and transitions.
Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
Ensure classroom safety and promote positive behaviors.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
