Salary is negotiable with a starting base rate and will be reviewed every three months for the first year based on agreed-upon performance goals and job responsibilities.

Position Summary:
The Program Director will provide senior leadership and strategic direction for all operations at Fuego Corporation. This individual will uphold the organization's mission, cultivate leadership, manage resources effectively, and drive initiatives that foster growth and excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong professional leadership skills and a deep commitment to living out their faith through service.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans aligned with our mission and values
  • Provide vision and direction for organizational growth, partnerships, and sustainability
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors on organizational policy and strategic goals
Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee all operational areas, including financial management, HR, program execution, and compliance
  • Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Improve internal systems and workflows to enhance efficiency
Staff Supervision & Development:
  • Lead by example, modeling servant leadership and accountability
  • Supervise and mentor staff; provide structure, guidance, and performance feedback
  • Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, and professional development
  • Conduct evaluations, onboard new hires, and address performance concerns with fairness and care
Community & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with churches, donors, educational consultants, government agencies, and other community partners
  • Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and strategic meetings
  • Support the coordination and growth of our internship and mentorship programs
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience (nonprofit preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills
  • Experience in business development, partnership-building, and fundraising
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Financial literacy with experience managing organizational budgets
  • A deep personal commitment to living by Biblical principles and advancing the Kingdom of God through service
