Restaurant Server

Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. $75,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities:

• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
• Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
• Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
• Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations

Qualifications:

• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service

Must have experience in hospitality with a strong focus on exceeding client expectations. Looking for a proactive sales-driven professional who goes beyond order-taking to deliver exceptional service and drive revenue growth. Superstar sales skills and a passion for client satisfaction are essential.
