We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and heating units. This role is essential for maintaining and servicing equipment in the field, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Build, install, and maintain HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Provide field service support to clients, addressing any technical issues that arise during service calls.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Drive company van to various job sites for service calls, ensuring safe transportation of tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the HVAC industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with field service operations and customer service best practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
