Job Title: Data Analyst (Intermediate to Senior Level) – Hybrid, Jacksonville, FL
Job Description:
We are seeking an intermediate to senior-level Data Analyst to join our Data Platform development team. In this role, you will help build a next-generation product for the industry. The ideal candidate is highly technical, skilled at troubleshooting data issues, and adept at storytelling through data by identifying and leveraging the right data to create impactful narratives. Prior experience in shipping, supply chains, or working on software products is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Analyze, model, and manage data to deliver actionable insights.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues efficiently.
- Contribute to Agile Scrum processes and adhere to industry-standard SDLC practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in an analytical or software development role.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database design.
- Expertise in data mapping, journey analysis, and documentation methods.
- Strong Python experience in production environments.
- Experience with Apache Spark and Kubernetes (including kubectl).
- Familiarity with messaging architectures and platforms.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, with strong data storytelling skills.
- Experience in business process analysis.
- Knowledge of SAAS products or prior experience on a product team.
