What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Team Member- 2nd Shift (2 pm to 10:30 am) position at Fuel Total Systems Kentucky Corporation?
A tier one supplier of fuel system parts to the automotive industry, has immediate openings for a 2nd shift Quality Control Team member.
Summary:
Intent of this role is to inspect and verify products conform to customer’s quality and delivery requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
· Record and track quality data and maintain reliable record of daily quality issues
· Communicate quality issues with cross-functional team timely
· Make quality decisions based on established boundaries, internal requirements, and customer requirements
· Participate in kaizen activities based on daily activity
· All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge / Education:
· GED or High School diploma
· Basic math
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Skills:
· Effective Organizational and Time Management skills
· Communicate effectively written / verbal in a team environment
· Maintain a positive work environment
· Self-starter with little to no direct supervision
· Attention to detail and decisiveness to ensure quality
Abilities:
· Must be able to meet flexible work hours as needed to complete job assignments (example: come in early or work over in order to help cover other shifts due to absenteeism or work a split shift)
· Standing and handling tanks at the final inspection process to find and record quality issues
Work Conditions:
Standing, walking, and carrying loads up to 40lbs
Work on the plant floor
