Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking for a Business Development Specialist for our office located in in Chicago, IL. This role requires a high level of responsibility and leadership to generate strategic sales growth initiatives. The selected individual will concurrently be responsible to grow and manage a portfolio of qualified accounts.

Job Summary:
- Grow existing accounts by following market trends to better understand client needs and available business opportunities.
- Acquire relevant business information which will be used to generate both effective pricing solutions and service solutions
- Establish and maintain existing accounts acquired through rigorous follow-up and monitoring.
- Identify new business opportunities and coordinate meetings with the decision makers of the client’s organization.
- Manage multiple accounts and submissions simultaneously.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor or Collegial degree with at least two (2) to five (5) years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with a proven track record of sales/business development in the 3PL industry.
- Strong leadership skills and negotiation skills.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, and quick to take initiative.
- Highly motivated, goal driven, result oriented and team player.
- Influential, consultative and solutions oriented.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
