What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teachnician position at Fueling Brains Academy?
Fueling Brains is an Ed-Tech company to uplift the early childhood education narrative through its holistic approach. We are looking for a Lead Production Technician to join our team and help improve our warehouse’s production line.
The Lead Production Technician will help oversee day to day operations as per guidance by Lead Engineer. The primary responsibilities will be to ensure that the four Bescutter lasers are always operational and communicate any delays to the team and ensure production plans for products and upcoming orders are being carried out, including the final quality control check before dispatching from the warehouse to the district. The Lead Production Engineer will lead the team in all SOPs, support safety training, and ensure proper staging for materials and products. The LPE will meet regularly with the Lead Engineer to create work schedules and assure proper work distribution among laborers. The LPE will keep track of the production by each team member and report any deviations to the Lead Engineer.
The LPE will meet with the Design Team and Products Team Tuesday at 9:30 AM CST as required via Zoom to report any floor updates. The LPE will guide the Business Administration Team in the creations of GDRNs, as well as, submit the signed GDRNS to the Business Administration Team to send off to Finance after every delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain Bescutter lasers and submit any work tickets accordingly.
- Follow the production schedule established by the lead engineer.
- Report any possible delays to the lead engineer.
- Report equipment deficiencies to the lead engineer.
- Assist lead engineer with job assignments and updates for production workers.
- Assist with logging incoming inventory.
- Final quality control of products in the staging area.
- Updates production worksheets on a daily basis.
- Work with the Business Administration team for GDRN completion and submission when signed.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate trucks up to 26 feet in length.
- Assist in the loading and delivery of products to the end user.
- Assumes the responsibilities of the lead engineer when the lead engineer is absent from the facility.
Note: This job has a 90 day probationary period that will be classified as part time ranging from 0-40 hours. After 90 day this position can be changed to full time with a work consisting of 40 hours
