Job Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
- Monitoring operation of the NCC (remote site data collection, central computer operation, data distribution, and uplinking) and responding to data alarm conditions.
- Fault isolating and resolution using internal and external resources.
- Documenting all alarm conditions and actions.
- Collating system performance statistics and assisting in the production of tables and graphs for reporting and system analyses.
- Providing assistance during additions or changes to either the NCC or remote site computer and data communications equipment.
- Assisting in the coordination of planned system outages with communications service providers and Fugro clients to minimize disruption to Fugro Satellite Positioning, Inc. services.
- Assisting in the maintenance and updating of NCC Operational Procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Have 1 year or more of IT support experience.
- Have College coursework in information technology required.
- Possessing a minimum of an AAS degree in computer networking systems or computer science is preferred.
- Have experience in Computer networking with computer systems.
- Have experience using common office software packages and the Windows and Red Hat operating systems.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment.
