**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Host. As a Host at Fuji Japanese Steakhouse, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them with a warm and inviting demeanor and ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they enter our restaurant.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Managing the waitlist and seating guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicating with guests to estimate wait times and keep them informed of table availability
- Escorting guests to their tables and providing them with menus
- Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the lobby area
- Answering phone calls and assisting with reservations or inquiries as needed
- Collaborating with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak dining hours
- Providing exceptional customer service by anticipating guests' needs and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
