Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and satisfied throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS or similar platforms.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed, maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tables and utensils as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with cash registers and POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to upsell menu items creatively while providing exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn!
