Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee our quality management processes and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong Supervisory background in quality assurance, quality control. . This role is essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that all quality systems are effectively implemented and maintained.
Duties
- Assist the Vice-president of Operation in managing and maintaining the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming parts, in-process materials, components, processes, and finished goods.
- Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out, and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated, if necessary.
- Uphold standards and establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
- Setup and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
- Assign tasks and supervise staff in carrying out their job responsibilities.
- Identify and provide relevant quality-related training needs.
- Perform the inspection of designated incoming parts, in-process materials, components, processes and/or finished goods as required.
- Gather and maintain documentation from supplier (certificate of compliance, etc.).
- Prepare and/or complete documents such as Non-Compliance Reports in a clear, concise manner.
- Act has liaison with customers’ auditors and ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications.
- Maintain Quality Control records and logs.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with door systems is preferred but not required.
- Adept with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, height gauges & multi-meters),
- Proficient with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and are motivated to learn and can keep up in a quick-paced environment, we want to meet with you
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
