What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Corporate Accounts position at Fujirebio Diagnostics Inc?
Position Summary: This individual will be responsible for maintaining and growing the sales within the assigned corporate accounts. This includes the sales of automated instrumentation, reagent kits, and all manual testing kits manufactured by the Fujirebio Diagnostics group of companies. The individual sells these product lines to medical reference laboratories, CROs, and pharmaceutical companies within the assigned account base. The individual also develops and negotiates contracts with managerial oversight and ensures that the highest level of customer service is established. Ensures sales targets are met, forecasts are generated, and relevant market data are collected and updated.
Essential Job Functions:
Establishes and manages the account relationships at multiple levels from operations through administration for the organization’s customers within their assigned accounts.
Identifies sales targets and develops relationships with sales contacts.
Establishes sales with medical reference laboratories, CROs, pharmaceutical companies and research facilities; effectively closes deals and assures satisfaction is attained.
Establishes and negotiates contracts with managerial oversight.
Identifies and develops new corporate accounts
Ensures excellent customer service and communications are maintained to achieve sales and profit objectives.
Provides details of all account interactions via Salesforce.com on a weekly basis.
Provides accurate sales forecasts.
Monitors account performance with monthly revenue reports.
Communicates sales developments and competitive intelligence to management.
Actively participates in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns.
Follows all company environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines, and conducts work in a safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications (skills, knowledge, special training, certification, license requirements):
Formal sales training
Significant prior corporate accounts sales experience, preferably to the pharma industry
Knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical trials
Knowledge of in-vitro diagnostics products
Ability to discuss medical testing concepts in detail with customers
Ability and desire to travel up to 50% depending on the territory
Ability to drive – valid driver’s license required
Ability to sell company product
Ability to sell at different levels within an organization
Excellent customer service skills and sense of urgency
Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Education and Work Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; life sciences background preferred
Industrial (non-retail) sales experience
Proven growth track record and commitment to very high service levels required
