What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP MM/IM Consultant position at Fujitsu?
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP MM and IM modules in SAP S/4HANA for medical device industry clients.
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP solutions that support inventory management, procurement, and material planning processes.
- Configure SAP MM and IM modules, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485), and internal business processes.
- Integrate SAP MM and IM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, QM, WM) to ensure a seamless flow of data across the organization.
- Assist in ensuring data integrity and the proper setup of new processes in S/4HANA.
- Provide expertise in managing medical device materials, including traceability, lot/batch management, and serial number management, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Support system testing, data migration, and end-user training for SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the procurement lifecycle, from requisition through purchasing and receiving processes
Key Requirements:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM and IM modules, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the medical device industry, with knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and traceability requirements.
- Strong experience in configuring and optimizing SAP MM and IM processes, including procurement, inventory management, stock movements, and material planning.
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or upgrades, particularly with MM/IM functionalities.
- Strong knowledge of material traceability, batch/lot management, and serial number management, particularly in regulated industries like medical devices.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that improve business processes and meet regulatory standards.
- SAP Certification is a plus
