As a Product Owner Summer Associate at Startup Camp, you will be responsible for driving a product's initiatives from concept to market delivery. Collaborating with UX researchers, designers, engineers, and business professionals, you will become the domain expert—developing a deep understanding of the marketspace, its consumers, and their challenges. Your role will focus on owning the product's singular vision, transforming it from an initial concept into an elegant, impactful solution that addresses users' needs while delivering an exceptional experience.

As a Product Owner Summer Associate at Startup Camp, you will be responsible for driving a product's initiatives from concept to market delivery. Collaborating with UX researchers, designers, engineers, and business professionals, you will become the domain expert—developing a deep understanding of the marketspace, its consumers, and their challenges. Your role will focus on owning the product's singular vision, transforming it from an initial concept into an elegant, impactful solution that addresses users' needs while delivering an exceptional experience.
You will:
- Care about and empathize with the end user.
- Own delivery of product initiatives and releases.
- Write user narratives to imagine the experience a customer may have.
- Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to prioritize product enhancements based on impact.
- Communicate development status and document progress toward milestones.
- Perform market research and analysis.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or advanced degree from a top-tier university/college, or able to demonstrate significant professional work experience.
- An entrepreneurial work style, you're a self-starter with a bias toward action.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Open minded. You know what you don't know and are open to learning new things.
- Empathetic.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- You must be fully available—onsite—from 19 May 2025 through 15 August 2025.
