We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Management Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting property management operations, ensuring compliance with Landlord/Tenant Law, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and our property owners. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a solid understanding of property maintenance and legal administrative tasks.

Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including tenant relations, property owner relations, and overseeing maintenance request status.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Oregon's Landlord/Tenant laws
- Handle data entry tasks related to tenant applications, lease agreements, and maintenance records.
- Address concerns and resolve tenant conflicts as they arise.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with third-party vendors for property maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, including tenant interactions and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Skills
- Strong conflict management abilities to effectively address tenant issues and disputes.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with residents and property owners.
- Knowledge of Oregon's Landlord/Tenant laws is a plus
- Familiarity with property maintenance processes and procedures.
- Proficient in administrative tasks related to leasing agreements and tenant documentation.
- Experience with Buildium or Appfolio is a plus
- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors effectively.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
