Job Overview
Fulcrum Search Services is seeking an experienced Head of Food Safety and Quality Assurance to join our client, a leading food manufacturing company. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality assurance, sanitation, and regulatory functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic quality initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Lead a dedicated team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including FDA, USDA Organic, Kosher, Halal, and SQF certifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
- Leverage data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in quality assurance/quality control within the food & beverage manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, regulatory requirements, SQF, and USDA Organic, Kosher, Halal certification.
