Loss Prevention Manager

Overview:

Fulenwider Enterprises is a third-generation mid-size YUM brands franchisee operating KFC & Taco Bell restaurants throughout six (6) states (NC, SC, WV, TN, GA, FL) with offices located in Morganton, NC and Charlotte, NC.

About the role:

The Loss Prevention Manager will be responsible for the LP Department and staff, ensuring focus is placed on reducing losses and maximizing profits by reducing theft, reducing risk related to asset protection and employee injury, and ensuring operational compliance related to loss prevention. The role will require substantial fieldwork training, assessing, auditing, and investigating issues in our restaurants and collaborating with the Loss Prevention and Operations teams. The LP Manager will be based in the Charlotte area, with 80% field and 20% office work – including our office in Morganton, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the loss prevention team to ensure proper tools and procedures are used to find loss.
• Train/educate the LP and Operations teams on methods used to facilitate theft.
• Generate reports to track trends and progress to measure the success of the department.
• Communicate and partner with the field ops teams to implement and verify loss prevention procedures.
• Perform investigations when incidents occur and perform ongoing audits for operational procedures, cash handling, safe reconciliation, etc.

Requirements:

• 5 years in Loss Prevention related field
• Managerial experience required
• Valid driver’s license and dependable form of transportation required
• Degree in Loss Prevention Management or Criminal Justice preferred but not required
• Certifications or degrees related to occupational health and safety are also beneficial
• Loss Prevention Qualified, Loss Prevention Certified, or equivalent certification is beneficial
• Experience in quick service/restaurant loss prevention or management is beneficial
