The Community Health Coordinator assists with daily administration of Fulfill’s community health programming, primarily our Child Nutrition Programs (i.e., Kids Café, Summer Food Service Program, BackPack) as well as community, school, and healthcare nutrition education programming. Key activities include, but are not limited to, assisting with program data tracking, site trainings, organizing outreach and communication efforts, and collaborating with community partners on events. Additionally, this position may assist with providing nutrition education instruction. Some nights and weekends are required.
In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day activities and schedules of Fulfill’s Child Nutrition and Community Health Programs, from planning through implementation and evaluation. In addition, you will manage all program paperwork, files, and databases, contact all program sites on a consistent basis in an effort to maintain open communication and address any concerns/issues and program updates, conduct regular site and mandatory monitoring visits to ensure sites are maintaining program requirements and to address any program concerns and assist in training new site staff on program requirements. In addition, you will identify fluctuations and potential inaccuracies in program paperwork., ensures that all students or sites participating in the Kids Café, SFSP, and BackPack Programs have been thoroughly evaluated and referred based on USDA food insecurity guidelines, compile data for analysis and reporting to funders, board of directors, etc., collaborate with Fulfill’s Network Engagement Team and Operations to ensure that School, Healthcare, and BackPack Program foods are ready for distribution, track BackPack Program physical inventory on a monthly basis and assist with nutrition education activities as needed.
Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in community health or nutrition programming; experience with government programs preferred. Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), exceptional organizational skills, proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness, strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve challenges effectively and strong attention to detail. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for work at other locations.
Compensation: $19.00 – $22.00/hour
