Fulfill accelerates food security throughout Monmouth & Ocean Counties by leading a collaborative movement that connects people to food and related resources while also addressing systemic barriers to self-sufficiency and well-being.
Fulfill is part of local, state, and national alliances committed to advancing food security for everyone. Food insecurity is part of larger systemic issues that require comprehensive, multi-level approaches. On the ground level, Fulfill collaborates with and supports a network of approximately 300 community-based organizations throughout Ocean and Monmouth Counties to distribute food and connect people to related services. On a systemic level, Fulfill works collaboratively with others to develop a comprehensive, systemic response to food insecurity targeted to addressing its root causes of poverty and social injustice.
Fulfill has an employee base of over 50 employees. Our headquarters is in Neptune (where this position is based), with a satellite branch (The B.E.A.T. Center) in Toms River. This position is responsible for the execution and growth of a bulk donation program for food, water and other items to ensure a nutritious and culturally relevant product mix for Fulfill’s agency partner network, as well as mobile pantries, children’s programs, and other food distribution programs across Monmouth & Ocean Counties. The essential functions of this position include:
Essential job functions:
- Scopes business landscapes to identify potential donors in the retail, agriculture, and manufacturing industries.
- Creates and implements an onsite visitation plan. Trains donation partners in their relevant donation tool kit when conducting visits.
- Provides coaching and customer service to donors regarding their service issues, performance, results and feedback from agency and operations teams.
- Creates, updates, and maintains a key contact database.
- Partners with the Network Engagement Team to enroll and manage agencies participating in the Enabled Agency Program.
- Conducts training with operations staff to discuss pick up and quality control guidelines.
- Collaborates with Development team to recognize retail donors and develop acknowledgment strategies.
- Creates and updates activity logs detailing donor visits and site visits.
- Builds and fosters relationships with Feeding America and partner food banks in the geographical region for the purpose of building a shared food sourcing strategy.
- Provides input into the annual budget by forecasting donations and department expenses for the upcoming fiscal year.
- Compiles and analyzes data to guide decisions. Provides information that feeds reports on sourcing, donor performance, finance and distribution. Can articulate the findings of data to stakeholders.
- Is a stakeholder in the organization-wide food sourcing strategy that includes purchased items, government commodities and donations from various sources.

Skills, Education and Experience
- Experience in sales, vendor management, customer service, training, negotiation and marketing.
- Experience in the food industry a plus

- Capable of maintaining multiple accounts, including completing follow-up correspondence in a timely manner
- Reliable Transportation
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office/O365 applications
