We’re expanding and building a high-performance 3PL team in Charleston, SC, and we need a Customer Account Coordinator who will be the cornerstone of our business. This role is crucial in managing customer inquiries, overseeing inventory counts, handling returns, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and operations. Key Responsibilities:Customer Communication & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order updates, and issue resolution.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Understand the specific requirements and operational needs of each customer account.
- Provide proactive updates on inventory levels, shipping timelines, and potential delays.
Inventory Oversight & Order Management
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Monitor order fulfillment progress, resolving any issues that could delay shipments.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to align inventory with customer demand.
- Generate and review inventory reports, ensuring accuracy and forecasting potential shortages.
Returns & Issue Resolution
- Process and oversee customer returns, ensuring they are handled efficiently.
- Identify and troubleshoot product issues, working with the warehouse to ensure quick resolutions.
- Maintain detailed records of returns and adjustments, keeping customers informed of resolutions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain customer account records, including order history, preferences, and special requirements.
- Track key performance metrics, including response times, issue resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with management to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
✔ Previous experience in a customer service or account management role, preferably in logistics, 3PL, or e-commerce fulfillment.
✔ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
✔ Experience with inventory management systems (WMS) and order tracking software.
✔ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining customer focus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $20 - $25 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, Flexible but requires min 5 hours per day
