Job Summary
The Sales Project Manager, Telecom, is an extension of the sales team, leading the internal coordination of sales, engineering, and production to support the field project management of our Telecom key accounts. This position works directly in sales initiatives to ensure on time deliverables and supporting projects for our telecommunications small cell infrastructure for 5G and future technologies. This is a full-time role where collaboration with our sales, engineering, and production staff is key. The position requires you to be in the office 5 days a week to support these efforts.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Works directly with key accounts to ensure all pertinent information is received for project deliverables and other sales related topics
- Identifies and explores opportunities for additional revenue, drives business development by suggesting solutions which benefit key customers
- Monitor production capacity constraints and alerts necessary team members to issues
- Collaborates directly with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering to continuously improve scheduling and planning processes to meet or exceed deadlines
- Manages budgetary reviews and document overages on active and closed projects
- Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
- Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
- Be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and ensure high quality standards at all times
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering is considered a plus
- Sales experience in changing/complex sales cycles and project deliverables
- Proficient with Excel and Sharepoint; Smartsheet a plus
- Relevant industry experience managing projects in an electrical enclosure manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret general 2D/3D drawings and RFQ documentation
- Adaptable to fast paced, high volume of design projects
- Requires 10-20% travel throughout the month
- Ability to work fully onsite (this is not a remote position)
Physical Demands
- Minimal to light physical effort is generally required.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear.
- Finger dexterity required while using computers and keyboards and other standard office equipment.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
