We are seeking a skilled Powersports Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical as well as electrical/electronic knowledge and experience with motorcycle, ATV, UTV, XTV, engine, battery powered equipment, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, or a related field. As an Powersports Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of powersport vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functionality
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent downtime
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
- Solder electrical connections as needed
- Handle heavy lifting when required
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Service/repair powersports equipment such as motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, XTVs, etc.
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic, service technician, or in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Possess a desire to serve others and have a positive attitude
- Honesty and ethical conduct at all times is an absolute must
- Quality workmanship
- Experience with powersports equipment
- Ability to use service manuals as well as diagnostic equipment to include multi-meters, scan tools, and similar
- Ability to use a personal computer for research, technical material, and training
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations, perform measurements, and utilize torque wrenches as well as common hand tools
- Willingness to learn
- Maintain a clean shop and work area
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Qualifications
- Motorcycle mechanic certification is required and/or minimum 2 years experience and must obtain motorcycle mechanic’s license within 90 days of hire date
- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely.
- Experience in heavy lifting tasks associated with vehicle maintenance is required.
- Knowledge of diagnostic techniques is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $17.05 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
