Job Overview
Full Blast Pressure Washing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drone Cleaning Pilot to join our team. This role will involve operating drones equipped with cleaning tools for a variety of exterior cleaning tasks, such as high-rise buildings, rooftops, windows, and large industrial spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in drone piloting, a strong understanding of cleaning techniques, and the ability to follow safety protocols while ensuring high-quality results. This role will be responsible for helping to sell this service to prospective customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drone Operation: Safely pilot and control drones to perform cleaning tasks on various surfaces, including building exteriors, roofs, windows, solar panels, and more.
- Inspection: Conduct pre-flight inspections of drones and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order and prepared for safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all FAA regulations, company safety protocols, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drone equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to schedule jobs and to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and address any concerns regarding the drone cleaning service.
- Pressure Washing: Cleaning the lower level of buildings where a drone is not needed.
- Snow Removal: Safely clearing parking lots and sidewalks of snow and ice during the winter months.
- Marketing: Assisting in the design and distribution of marketing material to potential clients
Required Qualifications
- Drone Pilot Certification: FAA Part 107 Certification (or ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe).
- Experience: Previous experience operating drones, preferably in a commercial setting. Experience with drone-based cleaning or pressure washing is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with drone systems, cleaning technologies, and the ability to perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and heights safely.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on delivering high-quality cleaning results and maintaining equipment
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and management.
- Management Skills: Ability to manage a small team of technicians and assigned workload.
- Flexibility: Coordinate, plan and schedule out of state and overnight stays as needed.
