Position Overview

Math and / or Reading Intervention Teacher

Part-time and Full-time

This opportunity is available for both part-time (5-25 hours per week) and full-time (30-35 hours per week) roles, which occur during regular school hours. Our schools are conveniently located throughout Orange County, FL.

Responsibilities

As an Intervention Teacher, you will serve as a vital advocate, mentor, and inspiration for our students. If your passion lies in helping students learn and grow, you'll find a fulfilling role here at Catapult Learning. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Instructing small groups in Reading / ELA and / or Math across multiple grade levels, focusing on intervention.
  • Delivering instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills using Catapult Learning's specially designed materials.
  • Creating and maintaining individualized lesson plans using the provided curriculum.
  • Ensuring student supervision at all times, including safe movement between classrooms and learning stations, with possible light lifting and stair climbing.
  • Completing timely data entry for attendance, assessments, and communication with parents and teachers.
  • Scheduling and participating in meetings with parents.
  • Maintaining accurate records in accordance with agency requirements.
  • Keeping open lines of communication with company supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

    Maintain accurate records to enable effective student support, including :

  • Attendance data, academic progress, and inventory of educational materials.

  • Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • A valid and current Florida Teaching Certificate / Statement of Eligibility.
  • Experience in classroom teaching, internships, or tutoring.
  • The capacity and willingness to teach Math and / or Reading / ELA across various grade levels.
  • Proficiency in using online platforms for record-keeping and communication.
  • A strong belief that all children can learn.
  • A genuine passion for helping studentsachieve their potential!
