Reading / Math Tutors for During the Day
Part-Time | Henrico, VA
Position Details : Tutors will provide contracted instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading or math foundational skillsSmall Group Instruction for students in 3rd through 8th grade15-25 hours / weekPay : $35 / hourBonus : Tutors that attend all tutoring sessions will be eligible for an attendance bonus!
Location Details : Elementary or middle schools in Henrico County, VADuring the day
Catapult Learning is proud to offer a high-impact tutoring program in Henrico County schools. This program will provide critical support in reading, math, writing and science to help students learn key concepts to support their classroom learning and SOL objectives.
Responsibilities

As a tutor with Catapult Learning, you will :

Customize and deliver lessons and use data to meet student needs.

Track Progress :
Maintain accurate student and academic records.
Have experience working in challenging schoolsDiagnose learning skill deficits using district provided assessment informationDeliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the CompanyConsult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to studentsEnsure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.Attend and documents meetings / training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and / or federal agencies.Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

requiredTutoring or Teaching experience preferred using VA SOLSPass a background check prior to assignment to a school
