Full Circle Communities, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician I to ensure the efficient operations, safety, and maintenance of South Park Plaza Apartments in Chicago, IL. This position is part of a collaborative management team, rotating between multiple properties in the region including. The ideal candidate will have a background in high-volume maintenance, strong technical abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards of our properties.

You'll work under the direction of the Community and/or General Manager to maintain beautiful, functional properties while supporting our mission to provide affordable housing and supportive services.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Anticipate, identify, and correct all problems throughout the property.
- Perform general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, repairs, and apartment turns).
- Keep the team on track with daily huddles and proactive problem-solving.
- Handle unit inspections, custodial tasks, service requests, and grounds care.
- Assist with snow removal and seasonal property upkeep when required.
- Ensure all work aligns with safety regulations and company policies as well as State and Federal laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- HVAC certification and/or experience is preferred.
- Certified Pool Attendant (CPO) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle and insurance required
- Experience in stripping and waxing floors
- Working knowledge of residential multi-family maintenance functions
- At least one (1) year of full-time maintenance or janitorial experience, or related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Frequent lifting and/or moving items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
