We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Full Circle Electronics, a leading electronics recycling company. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and promoting our recycling services. This position combines sales expertise with a commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels (databases, inbound inquiries, social media, etc.).
- Maintain a regular schedule of contact with past customers to understand their current needs.
- Research prospects to understand their needs and how the company's offerings can address them.
Customer Engagement
- Initiate contact with prospects through cold calls, emails, or scheduled follow-ups.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers to drive sales opportunities.
Sales Process Management
- Present products or services to prospects, explaining their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Address customer objections, negotiate terms within established parameters, and close deals effectively.
Account Management
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by maintaining regular communication and identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
Collaboration with Other Teams
- Work closely with Business Development to hand off qualified leads and facilitate strong customer satisfaction
- Work closely with logistics to understand the needs of our customers and exceed their expectations, ensuring seamless delivery of products or services
Market and Product Knowledge
- Stay informed about the company’s offerings, industry trends, and competitors.
- Use this knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers and improve sales performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, or related field preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in inside sales, customer service, or a related role (experience in the recycling, electronics, or waste management industry is a plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas persuasively.
- Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Motivation: Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and a passion for sustainability.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with electronics recycling processes and environmental regulations is advantageous. An understanding of recycling periods of most companies (3 to 5 years IT upgrades) is desirable.
